Last June 27 to 29, 2025, the vibrant and driven team behind Pinnacle Homes took a well-deserved break from their usual routine to gather at Natalna Boutique Home in Bacnotan, La Union for their annual Team Building Activity. This year’s theme, “Blooms of Unity,” reflected the company’s commitment to nurturing growth, strengthening bonds, and celebrating the beautiful collaboration among its people.

The lush, scenic surroundings of Natalna provided the perfect backdrop for a refreshing and meaningful three-day retreat. Overlooking the sea and cradled by La Union’s natural beauty, the venue set the tone for both relaxation and reflection, making it ideal for employees to not only recharge but also reconnect.

Day 1: Fellowship and Festivities

The event kicked off with a warm welcome and a night filled with music and camaraderie. Fellowship Night featured a live band that set a lively tone for the entire gathering. Team members, dressed in their best floral attire, enjoyed the cool sea breeze, shared stories over dinner, and joined in laughter and music.

The purpose of Fellowship Night was to break barriers and let everyone ease into the weekend, and it did exactly that. For many, it was a chance to meet teammates from different departments and sites, especially those whom they only interacted with virtually or briefly during workdays.

Day 2: Culture and Team Spirit

The team had a hearty lunch at a seafood and grill restaurant that served fresh, local flavors, giving everyone a taste of La Union’s culinary pride. After lunch, the team visited the Bahay de Luna, immersing themselves in stories of heritage and art.

Later in the afternoon, the main team building event commenced by the beach, taking full advantage of La Union’s sun and sand. With the ocean as their backdrop, teams were grouped into Red, Blue, and Gold — each one bursting with energy and team pride. The challenges were crafted to highlight core competencies essential to any strong team: strategy, communication, trust, and coordination.

From relay races and problem-solving games to physical challenges that required synchronization and strategic thinking, each task pushed team members to step out of their comfort zones and rely on each other. The activities were light-hearted but meaningful, with each station bringing out both competitive spirit and cooperation.

The Red Team emerged as champions, showcasing a great mix of energy, planning, and teamwork. The Blue Team followed closely in second place with strong communication and consistency, while the Gold Team secured third place with creativity and enthusiasm that never wavered.

But beyond the rankings, what stood out most was the laughter, the cheering, the helping hands, and the shared goal of achieving something together. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about learning to trust and grow as one.

Day 3: Reflections and Farewells

The final morning was all about winding down. Some chose to take a quiet walk along the beach, others enjoyed a slow breakfast with new friends. There was no rush, just a calm and collective breath before returning to daily routines.
